FAQs

WHAT DO YOU ACTUALLY DO?

We help brick and mortar secondhand stores grow with strategy in sourcing used apparel.

WHY DO YOU DO IT?

We have a deep passion for sourcing and supplying secondhand clothing. We have been dealing in vintage and secondhand clothing for decades and see a huge need for organization in an industry that lacks a streamlined process for sourcing.

WHAT IS YOUR EXPERIENCE IN THE THRIFT INDUSTRY?

We come from a third generation family business of supplying second hand retailers and wholesalers. Our focus has always been primarily on wholesale, sourcing trendy styles by the container load from rag houses around the world. We also have thrift stores located in Florida where we continue to learn the industry from a retailer's perspective.

WHERE IS THE CLOTHING FROM?

It’s all original American donated clothing. We work directly with rag houses around the world who sort American secondhand goods from various sources.

HOW LONG IS THE PROCESS OF SOURCING?

For smaller orders, if we have the items in stock we can typically ship within 48 hours. For medium size orders where we may have some stock in house but still need to source more domestically, it may take up to 2-3 weeks to fulfill. On larger orders that require importing of container loads we ask for a lead time of up to 1-2 months. We always offer shipping orders in partial shipments to ensure clients get their goods as soon as possible.

HOW DOES SHIPPING WORK?

We ship LTL freight domestically. Goods are typically baled up in 100 or 200lbs bales and stacked on pallets. We work with our own freight brokers to get quotes for clients but we also allow for clients to arrange their own logistics.

HOW DO YOU COMPILE YOUR DATA FOR TRENDS AND CONSULTING?

We work with hundreds of secondhand resellers around the world on-going and have worked with thousands over the years. We have a plethora of our own data of what works in certain markets based on repeat business and discussions with our clients. We also continually work with intelligence providers to map out the growth within the industry.

We see that the industry is narrowing while in its biggest growth ever. We are he to begin bridging the gap between raghouse and thrift stores. Pushing the industry towards a closed loop approach to streamlining and to spread out the stock needed for trending categories. Giving the raghouses and thrift stores a better chance for consistency.
